Description:
At 456 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from 13 miles southwest of Olla to 5 miles
east of Milam, or extending from 17 miles southeast of Winnfield to
35 miles southeast of Center, moving south at 20 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Natchitoches, Milam, Many, Colfax, Montgomery, Florien, Provencal,
Natchez, Pollock, Dry Prong, Tullos, Georgetown, Fisher,
Cloutierville, Melrose, Cypress, Gorum, Bellwood, Chopin and
Bermuda.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
