Description:
At 550 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of showers extending
from near Campti to near Maydelle, or extending from 9 miles north of
Natchitoches to 13 miles west of Rusk, moving south at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Lufkin, Nacogdoches, Natchitoches, Jacksonville, Rusk, Center,
Mansfield, Milam, Many, San Augustine, Zwolle, Logansport, Alto,
Tenaha, Timpson, Garrison, Joaquin, Wells and Converse.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
