Description:
At 223 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms extending from over Logansport to near Martinsville, or
extending from 15 miles west of Mansfield to 16 miles southwest of
Center, moving southeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Center, Milam, San Augustine, Zwolle, Logansport, Hemphill,
Joaquin, Converse, Patroon, Shelbyville, Neuville, Bland Lake,
Rosevine, Macune, Martinsville, Oak Grove, Chireno and Huxley.
Instruction:
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening
weather conditions.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
