Description: 
At 1147 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 8 miles east of Ringgold to 6 miles west of Elysian Fields, or extending from 20 miles south of Minden to 13 miles south of Marshall, moving south at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Shreveport, Bossier City, Mansfield, Greenwood, Waskom, Coushatta, Stonewall, Ringgold, Heflin, Deberry, Elysian Fields, Martin, Goldonna, South Mansfield, Hall Summit, Keachi, Saline and Lucky.
Instruction: 
Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm. Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
