Description: 
At 915 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms capable of producing funnel clouds and waterspouts along a line extending from New Sarpy to near Norco. Movement was southwest at 25 mph. HAZARD...Waterspouts and funnel clouds and winds in excess of 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous waters. If a funnel cloud briefly touches down, minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Hahnville, Laplace, Reserve, Killona, Norco, Montz, Destrehan, Taft, New Sarpy, St. Rose, Edgard, and Luling. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 206 and 221. Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 1 and 2. Interstate 310 between mile markers 1 and 7.
