Description: 
At 748 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Turkey Creek to near Goudeau to near Batchelor. Movement was south at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Bunkie, Bayou Current, Morrow, Whiteville, Big Cane, Goudeau, Dupont, Indian Lake, Lebeau, Chicot State Park, and St. Landry. This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 36 and 53.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
