At 727 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over Port Allen, moving southwest at 20 mph. HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Baton Rouge, Baker, Plaquemine, Port Allen, Addis, Brusly, Rosedale, Grosse Tete, Merrydale, Brownfields, Gardere, and Baton Rouge Airport. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 138 and 159. Interstate 110 in Louisiana between mile markers 1 and 8.
