At 458 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Natalbany, or near Hammond, moving northwest at 20 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 to 50 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Hammond, Ponchatoula, Walker, Livingston, Independence, Albany, Springfield, Montpelier, Natalbany, and Tickfaw. This includes the following Interstates... Interstate 12 between mile markers 21 and 43. Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 26 and 43.
