Description:
At 124 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Meaux, or near Kaplan, moving northwest at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor
objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Crowley, Abbeville, Kaplan, Maurice, Meaux, Wright, Lyons Point, and
Indian Bayou.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
