Description: 
At 1113 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Morrow, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Bunkie, Simmesport, Morrow, Cottonport, Evergreen, Plaucheville, Whiteville, Big Cane, Goudeau, and Dupont. This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 34 and 38, between mile markers 41 and 42, and between mile markers 46 and 51.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 600 PM CDT for central Louisiana.
