At 720 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 16 miles south of Amelia to 7 miles west of Cocodrie. Movement was northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Winds up to 30 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Houma, Dulac, Montegut, Chauvin, Cocodrie, and Lumcon Center Buoy.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
