At 642 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles west of Sterlington, or 11 miles north of Claiborne, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 30 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Sterlington, Rocky Branch, Loch Lomon, Spencer, Deshard and Perryville.
