At 620 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms near Monterey, or 19 miles south of Ferriday, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Monterey and Deer Park around 625 PM CDT. Natchez and Ferriday around 655 PM CDT. Ridgecrest around 700 PM CDT. Frogmore around 705 PM CDT.
