Description:
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest Louisiana,
including the following parishes, in south central Louisiana,
Lafayette, Lower Iberia, Lower St. Martin, Lower St. Mary, Upper
Iberia, Upper St. Martin and Upper St. Mary. In southwest
Louisiana, Lower Vermilion and Upper Vermilion.
* WHEN...Through Monday evening.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water
crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding
of creeks and rivers are possible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- An anomalously moist airmass remains in place over lower
Acadiana with a few weak disturbances set to track through
this afternoon through Monday. This area has already seen
substantial rainfall in recent days. Additional rain amounts
of 1 to 2.5 inches are expected, with localized totals up to
4 to 5 inches possible.

Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
