Vermilion River At Lafayette, Surrey Street Gage Calcasieu River Near Glenmora Bayou Vermilion Near Carencro Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Bayou Vermilion near Carencro. * WHEN...Until early Friday morning. * IMPACTS...At 18.0 feet, Roads along Bayou Fuseilier are impassable. These include but are not limited to Walnut and Green roads along the St. Martin, St. Landry Parish line, as well as Meche Road in St. Landry Parish. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:15 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 18.8 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:15 PM CDT Tuesday was 18.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Thursday afternoon and continue falling to 15.2 feet Sunday evening. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
