Description: 
At 632 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Waltz, or 11 miles north of Morehead, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Haldeman, Triplett, Farley, Gates, and Waltz. THIS INCLUDES Interstate 64 in eastern Kentucky between mile markers 144 and 149.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio stations and available television stations for additional information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
