Description: 
At 454 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Kite, or 9 miles east of Hindman, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Pikeville, Wheelwright, Pippa Passes, Melvin, Dry Creek, Raven, Hi Hat, Garden Village, Kite, Burton, Dorton, Beaver, Virgie, Buckhorn Hollow, Myra, Demo, Ligon, Topmost, Shelbiana, and Greenleaf. THIS INCLUDES U.S. Highway 23 in Pike County between mile markers 1 and 19.
