Description: 
* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of east central Kentucky, including the following counties, Bath, Elliott, Fleming and Rowan. * WHEN...Until 1230 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Some low-water crossings may become impassable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 733 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Overflowing poor drainage areas will cause minor flooding in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Morehead, Flemingsburg, Sandy Hook, Fairview, Waltz, Cranston, Hays Crossing, Munson, Hilda, Triplett, Muses Mills, Plummers Landing, Sharkey, Rodburn, Gates, Ringos Mills, Christy, Goddard, Crix and Wallingford.
Instruction: 
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law enforcement and request they pass this information to the National Weather Service when you can do so safely.
