At 829 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 4 miles west of Baldwin City, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Tornado. SOURCE...Emergency management reported a funnel cloud along highway 59 along the Douglas county border at 8:29 pm CDT. IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include... Baldwin City, Wellsville, Centropolis, and Vinland. This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 192 and 198.
