At 1044 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Wellsford to 7 miles south of Sun City to 11 miles southeast of Buttermilk. Movement was east at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Coats, Lake City, and Aetna around 1050 PM CDT.

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for south central Kansas.
