At 911 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6 miles south of Herndon, or 12 miles west of Oberlin, moving northeast at 35 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of east central Rawlins and northern Decatur Counties, including the following locations... Cedar Bluffs and Traer.
