Description:
At 1029 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles west of Wakefield to 4 miles southwest
of Manchester. Movement was east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Wakefield, Riley, Milford, Manchester, and Talmage.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for central,
north central, northeastern and east central Kansas.
