At 809 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5 miles southwest of Talmage, moving east at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Abilene, Moonlight, and Talmage. This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 274 and 282.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for central Kansas.
