Description:
At 710 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles northwest of
Harper to 7 miles northeast of Amorita. Movement was east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
These storms will impact eastern Harper, southern Kingman,
southwestern Sedgwick, and western Sumner counties.
Locations impacted include...
Anthony, Harper, Attica, Argonia, Norwich, Spivey, Bluff City,
Danville, Waldron, Freeport, Rago, Runnymede, and Crystal Springs.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
south central Kansas.
