Description:
At 512 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles south of Big Bow, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects.
This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern
Seward, northeastern Morton, southern Grant, northern Stevens,
southeastern Stanton and southwestern Haskell Counties.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
southwestern Kansas.
