At 635 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 6 miles southeast of Levant, moving northeast at 65 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is possible. This strong thunderstorm will be near... Colby around 640 PM CDT. Gem around 645 PM CDT. Rexford around 655 PM CDT. This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 46 and 62.
