At 751 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over McLouth, or 7 miles east of Oskaloosa, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Leavenworth, Lansing, Tonganoxie, Easton, Fairmount, Fort Leavenworth, and Jarbalo.
Instruction: 
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for northeastern Kansas...and west central Missouri.
