Description:
At 1018 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles south of Courtland, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor
objects and vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Belleville, Scandia, Courtland, Norway, Republic, Munden, and Narka.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
north central Kansas.
