Description:
At 1001 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Nortonville to near Valley Falls to 3
miles northwest of Meriden. Movement was east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow
around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Valley Falls, Oskaloosa, McLouth, Meriden, Ozawkie, Nortonville,
Winchester, and Perry Lake.
Instruction:
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for
northeastern Kansas.
