Southern Lyon County in east central Kansas... * Until 945 PM CDT. * At 849 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 10 miles west of Olpe to 5 miles southwest of Neosho Rapids to near Lyndon, moving southeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 8:48 PM, 60-70 MPH winds were reported in Osage City. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include...
