Description:
At 755 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Bushton, or 10
miles southeast of Claflin, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Lyons, Sterling, Little River, Chase, Bushton, Geneseo, Alden,
Raymond, Frederick, and Silica.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for central
Kansas.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
