Southeastern Brown County in northeastern Kansas... * Until 745 PM CDT. * At 706 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 3 miles west of Denton to near Effingham to near Mayetta, moving east at 55 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Public. At 6:56 PM, a personal weather station reported 69 MPH wind gusts in Holton. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include...
