Description:
At 509 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Norway to 4 miles southeast of Belleville to 3
miles south of Narka, moving southeast at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Two inch hail and 70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 509 PM CDT...trained spotters
reported quarter size hail 3 miles north northwest of
Belleville.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Belleville, Scandia, Courtland, Cuba, Morrowville, Norway, Haddam,
Munden, Narka, and Agenda.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for north central
Kansas.

building.
