Description:
At 1114 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Halstead,
moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters reported ping pong ball size hail
5 miles north of Halstead at 1113 PM.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Newton and Halstead.
This includes Interstate 135 between Mile Markers 37 and 38.
