Description: 
At 748 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Glen Elder, or 10 miles west of Beloit, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of Mitchell County.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for north central Kansas. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building.
