Description:
At 616 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Harlan, or 32
miles east of Phillipsburg, moving northeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Public. At 6:14 PM, golf ball sized hail was reported
in Gaylord, KS.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Smith Center, Gaylord, Harlan, and Cedar.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for north central
Kansas.
