Northeastern Chase County in east central Kansas...
* Until 1215 AM CDT.
* At 1120 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles west of
Americus, or 10 miles northeast of Strong City, moving southeast at
20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northeastern Chase County.
