Description:
At 930 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 13 miles northwest
of Hamilton, or 14 miles west of Madison, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Madison, Hamilton, Virgil, and Thrall.
This includes Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 103 and 112.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM CDT for southeastern
and east central Kansas.
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
