At 821 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Burlingame to near Osage City to 4 miles northwest of Lebo, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Osage City, Carbondale, Overbrook, Lyndon, Lebo, Burlingame, Scranton, Waverly, Quenemo, Melvern, Neosho Rapids, Harveyville, Reading, Olivet, Beto Junction, Pomona Lake, and Melvern Lake. This includes the following highways... Interstate 35 between mile markers 134 and 169. Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 144 and 161.
