* At 641 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 7 miles southeast of Westmoreland to 3 miles
southeast of St. George to 4 miles northwest of Alta Vista, moving
east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Public reported a 67 mph wind gust east of Manhattan at
628 PM.
IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
* Locations impacted include...
Wamego, Holton, Rossville, Alma, Westmoreland, St. Marys, Dover,
Silver Lake, Onaga, Hoyt, St. George, Maple Hill, Mayetta,
McFarland, Paxico, Belvue, Emmett, Louisville, Circleville, and
Delia.
This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 310 and 351.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for northeastern
and east central Kansas. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until
