SVRICT The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Western McPherson County in central Kansas... Reno County in south central Kansas... Rice County in central Kansas... * Until 630 PM CDT. * At 540 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 5 miles southwest of Little River to near Nickerson to Zenith, moving east at 35 mph. This warning replaces the two previous Severe Thunderstorm Warnings. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include... Hutchinson, Mcpherson, Lyons, South Hutchinson, Sterling, Inman, Buhler, Haven, Nickerson, Pretty Prairie, Little River, Chase, Arlington, Turon, Partridge, Sylvia, Alden, Windom, Plevna, and Abbyville.
