Description: 
At 620 PM MDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 10 miles east of Goodland to 6 miles southeast of Brewster to 13 miles northwest of Winona, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE...Public. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Edson. This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 25 and 35.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. This thunderstorm is producing accumulating hail, which will make driving hazardous, similar to snow or ice. If you must travel, be aware of rapidly changing road conditions. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
