Description:
At 343 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles south of
Burlington, moving east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 329 PM, half dollar size hail
was reported in Gridley.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Garnett, Burlington, Colony, New Strawn, Gridley, Westphalia, Lone
Elm, John Redmond Reservoir, and Le Roy.
