Description:
At 343 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Hepler, or 15
miles northeast of Erie, moving northeast at 35 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Fort Scott, Marmaton, Uniontown, Redfield, Hiattville, Petersburg,
Porterville, and Pawnee Station.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for southeastern
Kansas.
