Description:
At 820 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Mcconnell Air
Force Base, or near Derby, moving southeast at 15 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Wichita, Derby, Haysville, Rose Hill, Eastborough, East Wichita,
Mcconnell Air Force Base, South Wichita, and Oaklawn.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 135 near Mile Marker 0.
Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 40 and 54.
