At 518 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Buffalo, or 11 miles north of Fredonia, moving northeast at 45 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Chanute, Fredonia, Humboldt, Yates Center, Altoona, Buffalo, Benedict, New Albany, Earlton, Coyville, Toronto Lake, Petrolia, Rose, Chanute Airport, Piqua, and Cross Timbers State Park.
