At 418 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Pomona Lake to near Williamsburg to 7 miles northwest of Westphalia, moving northeast at 65 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. Locations impacted include... Ottawa, Garnett, Burlington, Lyndon, Pomona, Waverly, Richmond, Williamsburg, New Strawn, Quenemo, Melvern, Princeton, Westphalia, Olivet, Beto Junction, Harris, John Redmond Reservoir, and Melvern Lake. This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 153 and 188.
