Description:
At 358 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 2 miles north of
Elk City, or 10 miles southwest of Neodesha, moving northeast at 55
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Independence, Chanute, Iola, Neodesha, Fredonia, Humboldt, La Harpe,
Gas, Thayer, Altoona, Elk City, Buffalo, Galesburg, Sycamore,
Benedict, New Albany, Earlton, Bassett, Parsons Tri City Airport, and
Buxton.
Instruction:
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for southeastern
Kansas.

building.
