At 233 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southeast of Norwich, or 7 miles west of Conway Springs, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Wichita, Haysville, Bel Aire, Goddard, Clearwater, Conway Springs, Downtown Wichita, Eastborough, Argonia, Viola, East Wichita, Eisenhower National Airport, Northeast Wichita, Mcconnell Air Force Base, South Wichita, Oaklawn, Lake Afton, and Jabara Airport. This includes the following highways... Interstate 135 between Mile Markers 0 and 9. Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 39 and 54.
