At 231 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles east of Strong City, moving northeast at 55 mph. HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include... Cottonwood Falls, Strong City, Cassoday, Bazaar, Elmdale, Matfield Green, Cedar Point, Saffordville, Wonsevu, Tallgrass Prairie, and Tallgrass Prairie Preserve. This includes Interstate 35 between Mile Markers 87 and 115.
